Continuing Education Courses for Pain Management
Appropriate courses should include a review of NM Medical Board Rule 16.10.14 NMAC on pain management; an understanding of the pharmacology and risks of controlled substances, a basic awareness of the problems of abuse, addiction and diversion, and awareness of state and federal regulations for the prescription of controlled substances.
